You're My Boy, Blue!

Oh, hai! It's been a while since I've updated. Work is just getting crazier and crazier. I can't say I mind, though. I just keep remembering how stagnant my old job was and I'm ok with the long hours.

So that's my excuse for why I have a retread bluebonnet picture to post tonight.  I'm experimenting with a few new textures in Photoshop Elements, so I'm using these still-lifes (still-lives?) as a blank canvas.

So these are some bluebonnets on my butler-server.

Totally unrelated to flowers: I spent the better part of today planning a friend's bachelorette party for this weekend. It should be interesting because one of the bridesmaids is the bride's 10-year old niece. So, partying it up in New Orleans wasn't quite an option. We're doing a demure day activity and then going out and partying that night.

But that doesn't mean I didn't spend entirely too much on bachelorette party decorations. Because for us old married people, these are some of the few times that we get to drink and party without the old ball and chain (or TH) hanging around. And since TH isn't traveling anymore, he's ALWAYS hanging around apparently.

All that's to say: I can't wait to see what pictures I have to post on Sunday. I highly anticipate shenanigans.
