As you've noticed, I added a new blog heading up there. I guess that makes my little corner of the Internet official. Since it is my corner, I'd like to pen a poem about my new shoes.
....as much as I want to, I can't think of a poem that doesn't begin with "There once was a girl from Nantucket," so I'm going to spare you my artistry with words.
(It's amazing how photography can make size 11 skis look like cute shoes, isn't it?)
(Not that I wear size 11. That would be huge.)
(..........or not).
Moving along! I created another "Shades of Grey" photo for the MCP 52 Project. I used a subject I'm very familiar with - law school. Using the only case book that I have left (I burned the others when I passed the Bar Exam in a cleansing ceremony), I figured this picture demonstrates that all law students (and lawyers) do all day is argue in shades of grey. If everything were black and white, we wouldn't need lawyers. And that would make me sad.
But without further ado, Shades of Grey featuring my favorite class in law school:
Sigh. Looking at this, I realize there's a shadow on the right-hand side of the book. You win some, you lose some. Until I build my photography studio by hand, I'm going to learn to deal with shadows every time I take a picture in my house made o' windows.
