MCP Project 52: 9/52 "Express Yourself"

I love the open-ended option for this week's theme in Project 52. "Express yourself" leaves a lot of room for interpretation. I didn't want a self-portrait (it makes being anonymous difficult), so I was left with something abstract.

I think this photo works well for self-expression. Basically, I have a uniform for work. I wear a pencil skirt, top, cardigan/sweater, or a wrap dress almost every day. One way I love to change things up is with necklaces. They're my little (amazingly little) subversive gesture to how traditional law firm dress codes are. In fact, my new firm is extremely casual in the grand scheme of law firms. A lot of these necklaces wouldn't fly in the more traditional ones.

Anyway, it just so happened that the very first picture that I took was the "one." That never happens.
